Qualifications

• 7+ years in software and automation controls in high-volume manufacturing or similar field.
• Proficiency in modern languages for tool building (Python, Go, C#, C++).
• Advanced PLC expertise with Rockwell Studio 5000/Logix or Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Ignition Ignition Perspective mastery for HMI/SCADA.
• Solid software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, design patterns.
• Database design and integration with PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL Server.
• Education BS/MS or equivalent in a technical field.
• Industrial networking: EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, OPC UA, MQTT.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise controls standards and reusable PLC libraries.
• Design and implement tooling to streamline engineering lifecycle (code generators, analyzers, unit tests).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for controls codebase testing and deployment.
• Develop No-Code/Low-Code tooling for end-user configuration.
• Create Ignition-based HMI/SCADA templates and Perspective modules.
• Design data interfaces linking PLCs and edge devices to relational databases.
• Collaborate with line deployment, device integration, and IT/MES teams.
