MJ Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Area Manager to lead a core manufacturing area in a 24/7 operation. You will report to the Plant Manager and supervise Production Supervisors while driving safety, quality, and productivity KPIs across the site.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, coaching of leaders, and optimal scheduling with potential for relocation as the business expand continues. A strong benefits package accompanies a competitive compensation plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing operations management experience.
• Experience in process-oriented manufacturing environments (chemical, coating, refinery, food, beverage, packaging, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Own safety, quality, KPIs, employee development, productivity and continuous improvement for the assigned area.
• Participate in the management team to meet plant objectives and complete regular reporting.
• Optimize scheduling and changeover activities; lead cost savings and scrap-reduction efforts.
• Develop and attain goals for production; hold teams accountable to targets and directives.
• Identify process improvements and coach direct and indirect reports; adjust staffing as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
