Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team in controlling project costs, inventory accounting, and financial reporting for a diversified energy engineering and manufacturing contractor. The role emphasizes close collaboration with operations and project managers to ensure accurate cost allocations and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has extensive GAAP knowledge, manufacturing accounting experience, and a track record of improving processes and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience; 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, controls, and financial reporting.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting.
• Manage inventory movements, cost allocations, and KPI analyses.
• Prepare internal financial reports and budgets; support audits.
• Improve internal controls; drive ERP enhancements and process improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure accurate cost control.
