PROENERGY is a leading engineering, R&D, and manufacturing powerhouse for fast-start power solutions. We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to ensure GAAP-compliant records, support month-end close, and provide insightful financial analysis.

You will work across departments, prepare journal entries, reconcile balances, analyze variances, and assist with external audits. Based in Sedalia, MO or Houston, TX, this role offers important ownership of the company’s financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate transactions.
• Maintain timeliness of closing schedules and reporting deadlines.
• Prepare internal financial reports and variance analyses.
• Support fixed asset accounting and CAPEX processes.
• Assist external auditors and audits.
