Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Senior Accountant for an established manufacturer. You’ll strengthen financial reporting, monitor production costs, and support inventory accuracy while partnering with finance and operations to turn data into insights.

Onsite in Fife, WA, the role requires 2+ years in manufacturing accounting, fluency in English and Mandarin, solid GL and cost accounting skills, Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP software; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Practical knowledge of inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Strong general ledger and reconciliation skills.
• Excel proficiency and experience using ERP software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support monthly and annual close.
• Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Evaluate production expenses and explain cost variances.
• Develop financial reports that help leaders understand operating results.
• Contribute to budgets and forecasts.
• Work with production teams to resolve accounting questions.
• Identify ways to improve reporting accuracy and accounting workflows.
• Communicate with business partners in English and Mandarin.
