Job summary

Confidential Employer in the Tacoma metro area seeks a Senior Accountant with 3+ years manufacturing accounting to manage cost accounting, inventory, and month‑end close. This on‑site role partners with operations and finance to deliver accurate reports and support budgeting and forecasting.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity are expected. You will drive process improvements, analyze production costs, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing and cost accounting activities, including inventory accounting and cost analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze production costs, inventory movements, and manufacturing variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and accounting process improvements.
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin with relevant business stakeholders.
