Qualifications

• 3+ years progressive accounting/finance experience, including manufacturing cost or inventory accounting
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variances, inventory valuation, and financial reporting
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Oracle Fusion or similar)
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly with manufacturing and operations teams
• Experience with standard cost rolls, variance analyses, inventory reserves, or controls preferred
• Experience in semiconductor/electronics/industrial manufacturing is highly attractive
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CMA/MBA a plus

Responsibilities

• Support cost accounting activities across global manufacturing operations, including standard costing and production costs
• Investigate material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and variances to identify root causes and improvements
• Analyze inventory valuation, aging, reserves, turns, scrap, and in-transit balances to support reporting
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and cost/inventory reporting
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Engineering to understand cost drivers
• Support cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and improvements to inventory/cost controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, data quality, and efficiency
• Translate complex data into commentary, insights, and actionable recommendations for leadership
