Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a US-based furniture manufacturer. You'll own the full accounting cycle, from GL to financial reporting, reporting directly to the CFO.

The role is on-site with no remote work, requires 5–10 years in manufacturing accounting, and a hands-on approach to close processes. MAS 90 / Sage 100 experience is preferred and proximity to the 60632 area is helpful.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on accounting experience completing the full accounting cycle.
• Experience in manufacturing companies with lean accounting teams.
• MAS 90 / Sage 100 experience preferred.
• Stable career history with long tenure at employers.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including GL, month-end close and reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger, postings, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and support audits.
• Collaborate with departments to support budgets and forecasts.
• Work directly with CFO; on-site role in Chicago.
