MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant / General Ledger Accountant to own the full accounting cycle in a lean team. You will manage general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, payables, receivables and financial reporting on-site.

Reporting to the CFO, the role requires 5–10 years in manufacturing accounting, MAS 90 / Sage 100 experience, and a meticulous, confidential approach.

Competenze

• 5 to 10 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Career experience predominantly in manufacturing companies.
• Experience in small companies with lean accounting teams (fewer than three people).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems; MAS 90 / Sage 100 strongly preferred.

Senior Staff Accountant / General Ledger Accountant

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join an established, US-based furniture manufacturing company in Chicago, Illinois.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will run the complete accounting cycle hands-on in a small, lean finance team: general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, payables, receivables and financial reporting.

THE CHALLENGE

In a small manufacturing company the accounting team is only a few people, so the business needs an accountant who can personally execute every step of the process, not just oversee others. Accurate books, a clean and timely close and clear numbers for the CFO depend on this role.

This is a fully on-site position with no remote or off-site work, close to the operation and with direct impact on the monthly financial results.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 to 10 years of hands-on accounting experience, executing the full accounting cycle end to end.
• Career experience predominantly in manufacturing companies (little or no background in public accounting, nonprofits or service companies).
• Experience in small companies with lean accounting teams (fewer than three people).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems; MAS 90 / Sage 100 strongly preferred.
• Stable career history, with at least one employer of 3 to 5 or more years of continuous service.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Must live within approximately 45 minutes of the Chicago (60632) worksite.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Crystal Reports.
