MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join a US-based furniture manufacturer in Chicago, IL. You will manage the full accounting cycle, including GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, reporting to the CFO.

This on-site role requires hands-on accounting in a lean team, with responsibility for accurate books, timely closes, and clear numbers for leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands-on accounting in manufacturing.
• Experience with full accounting cycle from transaction to financial close.
• MAS 90 / Sage 100 familiarity.
• Strong internal controls and close processes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Maintain general ledger and post/adjust entries for month-end close.
• Perform GL and bank reconciliations and balance other accounts.
• Support budgets and forecasts; analyze variances vs. actuals.
• Assist internal and external audits with documentation and responses.
