Triumph Integrated Systems in Forest, Ohio is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day plant accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting for our manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with operations and supply chain, support audits, and drive process improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in accounting, including manufacturing, are preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP & systems proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and product costing.
• Manage inventory accounting, including cycle counts, physical inventory reconciliation, and obsolescence reserves.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead) and report findings to plant management.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including capital expenditure tracking.
• Maintain and improve internal controls related to plant accounting and inventory.
• Partner with operations, production, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, tax regulations, and sound internal control practices.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
• Partnering with AP, AR, payroll, and operations to ensure proper treatment.
