Job summary

Triumph Systems Electronics and Controls (SEC) seeks a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for the manufacturing plant, including cost accounting, month-end close, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. You will partner with operations and cross-functional teams to support audits and drive process improvements in financial controls.

Responsibilities include standard costing, variance analysis, asset accounting, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, manufacturing focus preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-financial statements.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and product costing.
• Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, and obsolescence reserves.
• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capex tracking.
• Collaborate with operations to provide financial insights and cost-reduction opportunities.
