Job summary

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manual Test Engineer in our Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area.

The role centers on rigorous component, integration, and system testing, writing and executing test procedures, and validating defect corrections during development and operations. You will join a dedicated Manual Test Team within a fast-paced program and work with a lab environment and physical equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience testing through a full SDLC with test plans and test cases.
• Experience participating in formal test events such as Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test, and final release tests.
• Proven ability to develop and execute formal system tests aligned with customer requirements.
• Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures.
• Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing priorities with engineers and customer test stakeholders.
• Partner with System-Level Test Teams and Scrum Masters to prepare environments and execute tests.
• Identify cross-team dependencies for program release testing events.
• Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software applications.
• Develop, write, and execute system- and integration-level test procedures and reports.
• Evaluate software changes and verify corrective actions identified during testing.
• Develop test data, acceptance criteria, and test methodologies for subsystems.
• Plan and oversee regression testing across builds/images.
• Engage with customer points of contact for formal test milestones.
