Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Manual Test Engineer to join the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). You will perform component, integration, and system testing, develop test procedures, and verify defects across a fast-paced software program.

The role requires strong collaboration with software developers and customer test stakeholders, lab-based testing with physical equipment, and experience delivering formal test events and test reports for high-assurance systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 12-15 years experience or MS with 10-13 years experience.
• Experience testing through a full system development life cycle with test plans and test cases.
• Experience in formal test events (Acceptance, User Acceptance, Final Release).
• Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures.
• Experience communicating test results clearly to management and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to define testing priorities and schedules.
• Work with test teams to prepare environments, develop procedures, and execute tests.
• Identify cross-team dependencies for release testing events.
• Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software apps.
• Develop and execute system- and integration-level test procedures and reports.
• Evaluate software changes and verify defect corrections from development to operations.
• Utilize basic system administration skills and work with physical lab equipment.
• Develop test data, define acceptance criteria, and create methodologies for interfaces.
