Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr Manual Test Engineer for a fast-paced, mission-critical program in the Intel Sector's CABA. You will perform manual, system, and integration testing, develop test procedures, and verify defect corrections throughout the SDLC.

You will join a team maintaining a robust testing framework and lab environments. Responsibilities include coordinating priorities with engineers and stakeholders, preparing environments, and executing formal and informal tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience as a Test Engineer with full SDLC.
• Experience with formal test events and documenting test results.
• Experience collaborating with developers to create test procedures.
• Experience testing with physical lab equipment and summarizing results.
• Strong communication skills for management and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing priorities with engineers and customer stakeholders.
• Work with test teams to prepare environments, develop test procedures, and execute testing.
• Identify cross-team dependencies for release testing events.
• Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute system and integration test procedures and reports.
• Evaluate software changes and verify corrective actions.
• Develop test data, acceptance criteria, and methodologies.
• Plan and oversee regression testing across builds/images.
• Engage with customer contacts for formal test milestones and events.
• Understand components and interfaces to ensure coverage.
