Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a QA Lead to own the quality assurance lifecycle across multiple teams. You will define and drive the test strategy, mentor QA engineers, and oversee defect management to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will work with product and engineering leaders to embed quality practices early in development and continue to elevate testing standards in a global, 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Strong proficiency in multi-layer testing across UI, API, and performance layers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead QA teams and manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle.
• Extensive experience with risk-based testing methodologies to prioritize testing efforts.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overarching test strategy to ensure consistent quality standards across UI, API, and performance layers.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Oversee the end-to-end defect management process, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize fixes based on business impact and technical risk.
• Implement risk-based testing methodologies to optimize resource allocation and focus efforts on critical system components.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to integrate quality best practices early in the development lifecycle.
