Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for the Pasadena, TX facility to set up and operate a large Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) and other manual machines to produce, modify, and repair components such as pumps, turbines, and compressors.

The role requires reading blueprints, precision measurement, and maintaining tight tolerances while adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience of 5–10 years is preferred.

Formación

• Five to ten years of manual machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to maintain tight tolerances and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate VTLs up to 120” swing on rotating components.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to produce or repair parts.
• Interpret blueprints and work from drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Verify dimensions with precision instruments and ensure tolerances.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues.
