Job summary

Turbonetics is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our Corpus Christi, TX team, responsible for machining, repairing and fabricating components for pumps, turbines, and other rotating equipment used in critical industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will operate manual machines, read blueprints, and perform precision measurements with high attention to quality and safety. Collaboration with mechanics and engineering staff is essential for meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of manual machining experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and micrometers/calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders and other shop equipment.
• Machine components to specifications based on blueprints and drawings.
• Perform precision measurements and inspect finished parts for quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following OSHA requirements.
