Job summary

Triosim Corporation in North Carolina seeks an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist to hold tight tolerances and build clean setups on large-capacity lathes. You will read blueprints, set up your own work, and remanufacture precision components such as shafts, rotors, and cylinders.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Ability to interpret GD&T to plan each job.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Proven track record of holding tight tolerances (±0.001 inch).
• Experience with feeds, speeds, and tooling selection for various materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual engine, turret, and large-capacity lathes.
• Repair and remanufacture industrial components to spec.
• Verify results using precision instruments and document measurements.
• Read and interpret prints and work orders to plan each job.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow LOTO and PPE rules.
