Job summary

Triosim Corporation seeks an experienced Tool and Die Machinist to set up and operate manual engine, turret, and large-capacity lathes. You will work from blueprints and GD&T, producing precision components such as industrial shafts and cylinders to tight tolerances.

The role requires independent work with minimal supervision in a shop environment. Responsibilities include selecting tooling and feeds/speeds, performing inspections with micrometers and calipers, and maintaining a clean, safe work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in machining/manufacturing preferred.
• Machinist apprenticeship or equivalent experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual engine, turret, and large-capacity lathes.
• Read blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and work orders to machine parts.
• Choose tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting fluids for ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Machining tolerances typically within ±0.001".
• Perform in-process and final inspection with micrometers and calipers.
• Remanufacture/repair industrial rolls, shafts, and cylinders to spec.
• Maintain clean work area and operate safely with PPE.
