Tri-Mation Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC and Lathe Machinist to support the Machining Department, drive development and prioritization of work, and ensure on-time delivery of accurate parts.

You will assist in assembling custom industrial equipment and tackle run-off troubleshooting while collaborating with the team and taking initiative. The role requires at least 5 years in CNC/lathe, Mastercam proficiency, and strong math/measurement skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC and lathe experience, preferably in automation.
• Mastercam experience is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read a blueprint.
• Advanced math and precision measuring skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with independent judgement.
• Experience with assembly machines, automation and fixture designs.

Responsabilités

• Support machining department with development, implementation, prioritization of work and on-time execution.
• Set up and perform specialized tasks using standard/non-standard procedures and wide range of tools.
• Plan machining sequences and create part routings.
• Determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
• Select speeds/feeds and maintain cutting tools.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery and programs.
• Be an active team player, collaborate, and use independent judgment, creativity and initiative.

Tri-Mation has a great opportunity for an experienced CNC and Lathe Machinist to join our team. In this position you'll support the Machining Department with development and implementation, prioritization of work and execution of projects delivered on-time while supplying accurate parts or specifications. You will support the assembly of custom industrial equipment, and adhere to the best practices, protocols, and sequence of work. Support troubleshooting during run-offs. You need to have a collaborative mindset and want to positively work as a team; you know how to work independently but also have self-awareness to ask for help when needed; you need to be hungry to learn and be proactive.

Must haves:

• 1) Minimum of 5 years of CNC and lathe experience, preferably in automation;
• 2) Mastercam experience is required;
• 3) strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a blueprint;
• 4) advanced math and precision measuring skills;
• 5) demonstrated problem-solving skills with independent judgement being crucial;
