Exponent is seeking an experienced Senior Managing Scientist in the Polymers & Chemistry Practice. You will lead interdisciplinary teams addressing polymer material development, testing, and end-use performance across diverse sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of consulting experience, a PhD in polymer or materials science, and a proven client-growth track record. Some travel and collaboration with other offices are expected.

Formación

• PhD in Polymer Science or Materials Science required.
• 5+ years of consulting in polymer science or materials science.
• Proven track record of business generation and attracting clients or funding.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in scientific contexts.
• Outstanding reputation for integrity and technical expertise.
• Experience leading and coordinating complex projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead interdisciplinary project teams to solve complex problems in polymer materials.
• Identify and pursue new client engagements and partnerships.

• Inspect, test, and analyze polymeric materials for specifications and reliability.
• Conduct root-cause investigations on materials and components in various industries.
• Convey technical conclusions clearly to diverse audiences and support IP discussions.
