Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant in its Commercial Financial Services practice in New York. You will drive projects, manage client relationships and deliver solutions as both an individual contributor and team member.

The role requires 5+ years in banking or commercial financial services consulting, experience with GSIBs, and strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Onsite NYC work ~3 days/week with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications encouraged.
• 5+ years in banking or commercial financial services consulting, including GSIB experience.
• Experience with risk and controls current state assessments and regulatory topics.
• Strong communication, presentation and client-management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in New York City ~3 days/week with travel up to 25%.
• Proven ability to lead client delivery teams and deliver timely, quality work.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects including client management and solution implementation.
• Own multiple workstreams and interact with client leadership to ensure engagement success.
• Lead, coach and mentor junior consultants and ensure quality deliverables.
• Develop well-organized reports and presentations for clients and internal executives.
• Travel up to 25% and work onsite at NYC client sites approximately 3 days per week.
