Job summary

Ascend Indiana is seeking a Senior Manager of Workforce Strategies to lead and coordinate multiple initiatives across Indiana’s workforce system. Hybrid work at 16 Tech, with strong emphasis on research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement to translate findings into practical tools and actions.

The role requires a five-year background in workforce, education, or related fields, with proven project management and communication skills to inform statewide strategy and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Five+ years in workforce, education, economic development, or related fields
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple partners
• Experience translating research into practical resources

Responsibilities

• Execute workstreams from planning through completion and deliver clear work plans
• Research policy, data, and regional conditions to identify challenges and opportunities
• Build understanding of Indiana’s workforce systems and partner roles
• Plan and support meetings, interviews, and learning sessions with stakeholders
• Develop practical strategies and implement tools, briefs, and presentations
• Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
