Rollins, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to own the Workday Finance System Administration, focusing on configuration, security, and continuous improvement.

This role sits at the intersection of finance operations and technology, serving as the primary Workday SME for Accounting Center and related integrations. This remote position allows occasional travel to our Atlanta, GA headquarters for meetings and projects, with a strong emphasis on partnering with finance and IT to translate requirements

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of hands-on Workday Financials administration experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Workday Accounting Center configuration and journal entry creation.
• Proficiency in core Workday FIN modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and period close processes.
• Experience with Workday reporting tools (Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, BIRT).
• Workday Pro Certification in Financials required or expected within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Workday Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, and Procurement.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday Accounting Center, including data transformation rules and integrations.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and IT to translate business requirements into system configurations.
• Manage Workday security roles, domain policies, and business process frameworks for Finance.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support financial reporting.
• Support period-end close activities, including validation of journal entries and reconciliation workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with Workday support, and manage case submissions.
• Evaluate Workday release notes and lead regression testing and deployment.
• Maintain system documentation, process flows, and end-user training materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Workday Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, and Procurement
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Workday Accounting Center, including data transformation rules, source system integrations, and journal entry automation
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations
• Manage Workday business process frameworks, security roles, and domain policies related to Finance
• Build and maintain custom and composite reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support financial reporting needs
• Support period-end close activities, including validation of journal entries, reconciliation workflows, and financial data accuracy
• Troubleshoot system issues, manage Workday case submissions, and coordinate with Workday support as needed
• Evaluate Workday release notes bi‑annually and assess impact to the Finance environment; lead regression testing and deployment
• Maintain system documentation, process flows, and training materials for end users
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and system enhancements

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

• 4–7+ years of hands‑on Workday Financials administration experience

• Proficiency across core Workday FIN modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses
• Understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, journal entries, period close processes)
• Experience with Workday reporting tools (Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, BIRT)
• Workday Pro Certification in Financials (required or expected within 6 months of hire)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical concepts to finance stakeholders

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or Prism Analytics
• Familiarity with EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Workday Studio integrations
• Background in accounting, finance, or a related field (degree or equivalent experience)
• Prior experience supporting Workday in a remote or distributed team environment
