VIAVI Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager, Web Optimization & Search Strategy to lead website optimization, organic search performance, GEO, and AI search initiatives. This role partners with Marketing, Web Team, and business stakeholders to improve digital visibility and engagement across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in SEO, GEO, and technical SEO, with strong copywriting, analytics, and collaboration skills to drive enterprise-level strategies and content

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in SEO, GEO, website optimization, web strategy, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Generative Engine Optimization, including AI search visibility, content optimization, and measurement approaches.
• Extensive experience developing and executing enterprise SEO strategies.
• Proven experience writing and optimizing website copy for technical products, solutions, or B2B audiences.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, schema markup, keyword research, content strategy, and website architecture.
• Experience working closely with web development teams, product marketers, technical subject matter experts, and content owners.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or comparable platforms.
• Experience managing or optimizing website chat or conversational search content.
• Strong writing, analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across global marketing, web, technical, and business teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead website optimization, search visibility, and content discoverability across VIAVI properties.
• Collaborate with Web Team, Product Marketing, regional marketing, business units, IT, and content owners to keep content accurate and optimized.
• Translate business needs into recommendations for web content, search performance, structured data, and engagement.
• Ensure changes reflected in SEO, GEO, schema, analytics, and website chat content.
• Own the enterprise SEO strategy across global web properties, including keyword research and content optimization.
• Develop content briefs, keyword guidance, and on-page optimization recommendations.
• Monitor organic search performance and advise on rankings, CTR, relevance, and traffic quality.
• Educate stakeholders on GEO principles and optimization opportunities.
• Lead technical SEO and structured data strategy, including schema and metadata standards.
• Review crawlability, indexation, internal linking, metadata, and content quality and implement corrections.
• Monitor the impact of updates on search visibility.
• Own content, testing, and optimization of website chat and conversational search experiences.
• Manage topics, FAQs, and supporting content; coordinate with Web Team on implementation and releases.
• Review usage data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor performance metrics for website, SEO, and GEO; provide insights to business units and leadership.
• Support quarterly business reviews with clear findings and recommendations.
• Provide practical SEO guidance and training to content owners and marketing stakeholders.
