Job summary

Roche Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations leader to manage a multi-shift team of technicians and a maintenance planner. You will ensure reliability of conveyors, racking, voice headsets, and related systems, while controlling budgets and coordinating with external contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 5 years of leadership experience, with strong knowledge of distribution controls, quality and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of distribution approaches and control systems.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-shift team of maintenance technicians with a focus on safety and technical excellence.
• Oversee the maintenance planner to schedule work tickets and preventative maintenance.
• Provide hands-on technical support to troubleshoot equipment and develop team capabilities.
• Manage maintenance and repair budgets and maintain appropriate spare parts stocks.
• Coordinate with external contractors and ensure service agreements are met.
• Collaborate with site facilities on large projects affecting multiple assets.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with distribution operations and quality systems.
• Evaluate new technologies for maintenance considerations in fulfillment operations.
