Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Value & Access Insights Senior Manager to lead analytics for medical benefit products, shaping payer and provider strategies through integrated data analysis and secondary data integration.

You will collaborate with US Payer Marketing and C&P teams to understand the managed markets landscape, drive actionable insights, and influence access and reimbursement decisions across products.

Qualifications

• PhD or foreign equivalent in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, Eng, Science, Statistics or related field.
• Master’s or foreign equivalent plus 2 years of business experience.
• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree plus 4 years of business experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Payer Marketing, Pricing/Contracting and Brand Marketing to build analytics and insights plans.
• Analyze datasets including claims, prescription, outlet, and chargeback data to support strategies.
• Lead analytics, reports and insights on product formulary position and utilization controls.
• Prepare periodic reports tracking portfolio performance against objectives.
• Execute analytics plans using payer data to support payer insights and strategies.
• Challenge teams with data-driven insights and drive innovative solutions.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships to address business needs.
• Perform advanced analytics like time series, segmentation and diagnostics.
