About This Role

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager leads the owner-side quality assurance and quality control program for assigned renewable energy and infrastructure projects. • Coordinate quality execution with site quality personnel, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Commissioning, Operations, EPC contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, third-party inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Verify that applicable quality requirements are clearly communicated, flowed down to subcontractors and suppliers, incorporated into project documentation, and implemented in the field.
  • Plan and perform risk-based internal and external audits, surveillance activities, supplier or fabrication inspections, and field quality reviews; document findings and drive timely closure.
  • Ensure nonconformance reports, punch-list items, defects, and other quality deficiencies are promptly identified, documented, dispositioned, tracked, verified, and closed in accordance with project requirements.

  • Monitor quality key performance indicators and the effectiveness of approved quality plans and processes; provide concise reporting, escalation, and recommendations to project and functional leadership.
  • Provide independent assurance that project work is progressing in accordance with approved plans, processes, contracts, specifications, drawings, and operational requirements without replacing the contractor’s responsibility for quality control.
  • Support constructability, design, procurement, commissioning, turnover, warranty, and operations-readiness reviews to reduce downstream defects and improve handoff quality.
  • Participate in project, contractor, supplier, and company quality meetings and coach project personnel on quality expectations, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready quality records in approved document-management and construction-management systems.
  • Travel to project sites, vendor facilities, and contractor locations as business needs require, including work in active construction environments.
