  • Lead negotiations and execution of purchase options, lease options, easements, extensions, and related real estate agreements, balancing operational, financial, legal, and constructability considerations across the project lifecycle.
  • Build the greenfield development pipeline by identifying new market opportunities, evaluating development constraints and commercial drivers, and creating practical pathways to project viability.
  • Represent Geronimo Power with landowners, local officials, utilities, regulators, transmission providers, and community stakeholders, and maintain relationships necessary to advance projects.
  • Coordinate with Transmission, Engineering, Construction, Permitting, Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Strategy, Community Engagement, and Procurement teams; provide informal leadership by clarifying ownership, driving accountability, and advancing deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, manage, and elevate project risks, and recommend practical mitigation strategies and decision points.
  • Partner with internal technical teams on interconnection and transmission activities, including schedule, cost, design, project-readiness impacts, and preparation of applicable interconnection materials.
  • Partner with Engineering and Construction on site layouts, design assumptions, constructability, equipment needs, cost-effective development strategies, and accurate identification of project constraints.
  • Work with the Permitting team to coordinate federal, state, and local permitting and approval processes for generation and load projects.
  • Prepare project updates, budgets, forecasts, schedules, investment materials, and leadership reporting that clearly communicate status, decisions, risks, and required actions.
  • Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure timely, accurate, and fit-for-purpose deliverables.
