Job summary

Tory Burch seeks a Sr. Manager, Technical Design for our Wovens and Bottoms ready-to-wear category in New York. You will partner with Design, Merchandising, Product Development and Production to support fit, construction, and development through production. Strong patternmaking and fit expertise with offshore coordination are essential.

Lead and coach a team of specialists, ensure consistent technical standards, and manage timelines and approvals across teams to deliver high-quality collections.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in Technical Design, patternmaking, garment construction, and fittings.
• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, materials, construction, and fit execution.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing team members, with ability to provide direction and feedback.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PDF tools, and related technical design systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the technical specifications to complete the design tech packs.
• Assist design in putting together tech packs for proto development and publish tech packs.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to foresee problems and offer alternatives.
• Review proto samples and ensure fit requirements are met; communicate changes clearly.
• Lead team coordination across wovens, bottoms, and offshore partners.
