Senior Manager, Technical Delivery
Role Purpose

As Senior Manager, Technical Delivery you will turn venue designs into built, commissioned, and Games‑ready infrastructure across a group of venues. You will support development of the technical design books and construction documents that Technology, Broadcast, Energy, Sport, OBS, and others depend on, oversee field work from installation to removal, and protect scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support technical venue design books and construction documents with subject‑matter experts, architects, and operators, and build integrated workplans aligned to the master schedule and Program Management.
  • Coordinate and implement infrastructure requirements from Technology, Broadcast, Energy, Sport, and OBS.
  • Partner with Finance and Procurement to evaluate costs, elevate risks, and find cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee site preparation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance across venues, then decommissioning, strike‑out, and site restoration.
  • Ensure technical design meets codes, standards, Games and stakeholder requirements, and Health and Safety regulations, while supporting Permitting, Risk Management, and Event Operations.
Required Competencies
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with leadership in engineering, systems commissioning, construction management, or technical direction.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Direction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A track record overseeing multiple concurrent, complex projects across many stakeholders.
  • Skill with engineering tools (Autodesk, 3D models, technical submittals) and collaboration tools — Office360, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Autodesk Cloud.
  • Command of project management fundamentals — scope, schedule, and budget — with strong problem‑solving skills.
Valued Experience
  • Experience with temporary infrastructure or live events, including obtaining permits for infrastructure delivery.
  • Knowledge of the California Building Code and of U.S. and California construction processes, suppliers, and unions.
What We Offer
  • Real ownership of technical delivery across venues that will host the Games.
  • Cross‑functional exposure across Technology, Broadcast, Energy, Finance, and Procurement.
  • The chance to build systems and standards from the ground up, on an inclusive, co‑creative team.

  • Most work is in an office setting, using computers, phones, and other equipment for extended periods.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle setting.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
