Job summary

CompoSecure, a GPGI business, seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and External Reporting to lead complex U.S. GAAP technical accounting, SEC filings, and global consolidation across Holdco entities.

This role partners with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations, coordinating with external auditors to ensure accurate disclosures and compliant financial reporting. Flexible locations include Somerset, NJ or Toronto, Canada; strong leadership and process-improvement focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA credential are required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, public or corporate.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX controls.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Form 10-Q/10-K and related disclosures.
• Experience with technical accounting research and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and footnotes.
• Coordinate quarterly/annual reporting with Finance, Legal, Tax and Treasury.
• Oversee consolidation process and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Support M&A due diligence, purchase accounting and valuations.
• Maintain accounting policies and enhance controls and automation.
• Mentor junior staff and provide cross-functional guidance.
