Job summary

SunStrong Management, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting to own the day-to-day portfolio accounting for residential and commercial solar energy assets. You will manage transactional entries, reconciliations, and sign-off on financial positions, feeding into consolidated reporting.

You will lead HLBV modeling, tax equity allocations, and complex ASC accounting (860/810/323/740) while partnering with external auditors and the asset management team to ensure audit-ready memos and robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA credential active and in good standing.
• 8+ years in financial accounting or auditing (Big 4 preferred).
• Direct financial reporting experience, including financial statements.
• HLBV and renewable energy tax equity accounting knowledge.
• Experience with ASC 860, ASC 810, ASC 323, ASC 740.
• Portfolio- or entity-level accounting with ownership and sign-off authority.
• Proven people-management experience and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day portfolio accounting and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and review portfolio-level financial statements and reporting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain tax equity structures and ITC allocation in accounting.
• Own HLBV modeling and allocate income to tax equity and sponsor.
• Coordinate with auditors and external service providers; present analyses to senior management.
