Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage PBNA technical accounting, policy compliance, and impairment reviews. You will coordinate with FP&A, external advisors, and auditors while guiding new standard implementations and SOX controls.

The role supports quarterly and annual close processes, policy exceptions, and executive-level materials, with hybrid work options in Purchase, NY or Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification required.
• 10+ years of accounting or related experience.
• 4+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret and explain technical accounting guidance for PBNA Control team and business partners.
• Ensure guidance aligns with PepsiCo policies and US GAAP.
• Partner with Corporate and business teams on new standards and assess impact on financial statements.
• Perform annual impairment analysis for goodwill and PBNA intangible assets.
• Liaise with FP&A and external advisors for valuation work as needed.
• Coordinate with external auditors on audits and other technical matters.
• Support M&A and integration activities within PBNA.
• Lead coordination of quarterly and annual close processes and related deliverables.
