Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Category Management & Strategic Sourcing to lead a team responsible for end-to-end technology procurement, including software, SaaS, cloud, and services. You will drive sourcing strategies, negotiate complex contracts, and align with business leaders across IT, Legal, Finance and Risk.

You will guide multi-year sourcing programs, develop category roadmaps, and ensure value, risk mitigation, and compliant supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience within a large, global organization.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to influence executives and work through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for technology spend (software, SaaS, cloud, services).
• Negotiate master software, cloud, SaaS and services agreements; manage contracts and statements of work.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business priorities; drive value, risk reduction and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a procurement team; partner with Business Leaders, IT, Legal, Privacy, Finance, Risk and Suppliers.
