Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an IT Category Manager to lead how we plan and buy software, hardware, cloud, telecom, data, and IT services on the Technology & Data Solutions team. You will develop buying strategies, drive sourcing and negotiations, and oversee contracts and renewals for global technology vendors in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years in IT category management, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of IT category management or similar experience.
• Knowledge of IT buying categories, contracting, data privacy, and supplier risk.
• Strong analytical, financial, and presentation skills; proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy: build and execute IT buying plans for software, hardware, cloud, telecom, data, and services.
• Supplier Management: lead supplier selection, onboarding, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Sourcing & Contracts: lead RFPs/RFQs, negotiate contracts, and ensure value and risk management.
• Stakeholder Partnership: advise IT, Legal, Finance, Risk, and business leaders; drive process improvements.
