L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Mgr., Systems Engineering - Integration Systems & Encryption Division Functional Engineering in Camden, NJ.

This role leads cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities and accelerate program execution in a high-impact environment. Responsibilities include owning scope, schedule, and budget; building scalable operating models; and driving engineering rigor, Agile delivery, and verification practices across a portfolio of programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with extensive related experience.
• Active Security clearance preferred or ability to obtain one.
• Strong leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline engineering teams to execute programs on time and within budget.
• Own functional execution for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality.
• Implement an integrated operating model with clear ownership and accountability.
• Establish repeatable engineering processes and common tools for interoperability.
• Lead portfolio-level program delivery and strategic staffing plans.
• Oversee recruiting, performance management, and development of high-performing teams.
• Drive engineering rigor, verification practices, and rapid prototyping while ensuring safety and compliance.
