The role emphasizes strategic technical leadership in supplier selection, qualification, and risk mitigation, driving NPI, design transfer, and seamless integration into manufacturing operations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific field is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally for supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Supplier Development Engineering team; set clear priorities and deliver against business and operational objectives.
• Elevate supplier capability and manufacturing readiness with cross-functional alignment to support product development and scale-up.
• Own end-to-end engineering execution across the product lifecycle from concept through validation, launch, and post-market optimization.
• Provide strategic technical leadership in sourcing decisions including supplier selection, capability assessments, qualification strategies, and risk mitigation.
• Drive successful NPI through supplier validation, design transfer, and integration into manufacturing operations.
• Champion DFM and robust engineering practices through design and process reviews.
