Job summary

EY’s Supply Chain and Operations practice is seeking a Senior Manager to lead procurement category management, strategic sourcing and cost transformation for client programs. You will shape multi-category roadmaps, run opportunity assessments and guide sourcing execution while collaborating with CPOs, finance leaders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (supply chain, business, finance, engineering, economics)
• Seven+ years of procurement experience with consulting and leadership
• Experience shaping, selling and delivering complex procurement engagements
• Experience leading teams with senior procurement/finance leaders
• Willingness to travel based on client needs

Responsibilities

• Shape and sell procurement transformation, category management, strategic sourcing and cost takeout engagements.
• Lead spend and opportunity assessments and develop value cases.
• Direct category strategy, market and supplier analysis, sourcing events and negotiations.
• Mobilize and lead complex programs with governance, workplans and risk mitigation.
• Build alignment across Procurement, Finance and business teams with balance of cost, service and risk.
• Apply spend analytics, contract analytics, market intelligence and AI-enabled procurement capabilities.
• Develop client relationships, market offerings and thought leadership.
• Coach and develop high-performing, inclusive teams across pursuit and delivery.
