Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring a Senior Manager of Corporate Business Development & Strategic Partnerships in Washington. You will lead end-to-end execution of high-impact partnerships, define theses, and structure commercial agreements that may include warrants or options, collaborating with legal, tax, and finance teams.

You will conduct research, due diligence, and negotiations, building scalable frameworks and repeatable playbooks to advance Blue Origin's strategic and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, investment banking, VC, or related fields.
• Experience structuring and executing complex commercial partnerships.
• Fluency in financial terminology and structures (e.g., revenue sharing, milestones, warrants, options).
• Highly organized with ability to guide cross-functional work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive and business-unit leadership to identify and structure strategic partnerships that align with Blue Origin priorities.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution, including assessment, business case development, term sheets, negotiation, and closing.
• Structure and negotiate commercial agreements, potentially including warrants or options, with cross-functional teams.
• Develop market maps, partner landscapes, and theses for priority partner categories.
• Lead cross-functional deal and diligence teams across legal, finance, tax, HR, operations, IT, and strategy.
• Evaluate opportunities and risks in partnerships, including strategic fit and execution risk.
• Prepare investment and partnership memos with recommendations across the lifecycle.
• Build tools and reporting to track performance, pipeline, and portfolio health.
• Develop repeatable playbooks for structuring and executing partnerships.
