Hermès in New York is seeking a Manager of Special Events to lead and oversee medium-scale events from concept to post-event recaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and Hermès standards. You will manage budgets, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, mentor the Special Events Coordinator, travel as needed, and report on event performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in similar role and/or environment.
• Excellent knowledge of principal event production skills including logistics management.
• Excellent project management, prioritization and planning skills.
• Extensive organizational experience with precise attention to detail.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills and ability to establish relationships.
• Proficiency in team leadership and motivation.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and critical thinking.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and execute all delegated events from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Hermès International Office on event concepts and strategies.
• Manage all aspects of event production, coordination, logistics and external vendor management.
• Oversee on-site event execution and vendor support.
• Develop guest list strategy with CRM team and boutiques.
• Prepare post-event recaps and reports.
