Position Summary:
Leads and oversees the business strategy team by setting strategic objectives and driving the organization's overall business strategy. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop long-term plans and align business strategies with the company's vision and mission. Conducts performance evaluations, mentors team members, and provides guidance on strategic analysis and planning. Evaluates new business opportunities, fosters innovation, and adapts strategies to meet evolving market conditions and industry trends.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with multiple departments through workshops and brainstorming sessions to facilitate interactive discussions that stimulate creativity and collaboration
  • Conducts reviews and performance assessments to evaluate and provide feedback on strategic outcomes
  • Consolidates details from the strategic plan for senior leadership, department heads, and employees to address questions, obtain feedback, and secure buy-in and support
  • Creates a strategic planning framework that defines timelines, milestones, and deliverables throughout the implementation process
  • Decides on the action plan best suited to define process ownership and resource allocation for each strategic initiative
  • Delivers a comprehensive, post-implementation evaluation to assess the impact of strategic processes for improved future outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years work experience
  • 2+ years of experience executing and delivering technical planning and support
  • 2 + years of experience analyzing market intelligence on industry trends and competitor activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating direction for technology-enabled collaborations to engage stakeholders that are geographically dispersed
  • Experience allocating accountability to cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and implementation of strategic plans

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
