Job summary

Lightsource bp in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Structured Finance to join the Finance team. This hybrid role is based in Austin, Denver, or San Francisco and involves leading project finance activities for utility-scale solar and storage projects.

You will model transactions, negotiate with financing counterparties, and guide cross-functional groups through term sheets and financial closes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of project finance experience in a transactional role.
• Experience with tax equity and tax credit transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support negotiations with financing counterparties for solar and energy storage assets.
• Perform transaction execution including marketing, terms, due diligence, modeling, and closing.
• Provide guidance on financing-related project issues to other groups.
• Review models for soundness and assist with term sheets and financial close.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
