Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior Analyst, Structured Finance to support tax equity, debt financing, and strategic transactions across our U.S. portfolio.

The role involves working on project financings from capital raising through commercial operation and providing financial analysis for power offtake origination, investment decisions, and M&A opportunities. This hands-on, highly analytical position offers exposure to renewable energy transactions and capital markets, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in project finance, structured finance or related renewables work.
• Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills (modeling test in interview).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or quantitative field; renewable project finance knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, organization and communication.
• Interest in renewable energy and energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain project finance models for tax equity and debt financing.
• Support capital raising from marketing through financial close.
• Prepare marketing materials for tax equity investors and lenders.
• Manage transaction data rooms and due diligence across teams and advisors.
• Validate project inputs in models for revenue, OPEX and capex.
• Assist in term sheet negotiations with modeling and scenarios.
• Prepare investment committee materials for key milestones.
• Provide financial analysis for PPA, procurement, EPC negotiations.
