Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to lead a blended squad of engineers, QA, vendors, and partners, delivering the Artemis platform across UI, backend services, and batch processing.

You will drive engineering quality, production reliability, vendor management, and stakeholder communication while advancing DevOps, CI/CD maturity, and platform modernization. This role requires strong leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and a proven track record in

Qualifications

8–10+ years in software engineering, delivery, or technical product development with production systems ownership.
3–5+ years in people leadership overseeing engineering teams and talent development.
Experience delivering modern software across UI, APIs, backend, and batch processing.
Cloud experience, preferably AWS, with containerised deployments and enterprise hosting patterns.
Full lifecycle delivery experience: planning, design, development, testing, release, and support.
Experience managing blended delivery models with internal staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop internal software engineers and QA automation engineers through objective setting, coaching, performance feedback, and prioritization.
Direct and oversee delivery from vendors and strategic partners, including QA resources and quality oversight.
Establish and maintain delivery practices for blended teams with clear ownership and consistent standards.
Coordinate dependencies across product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and support to remove obstacles.
Drive operational excellence through incident response, root cause analysis, reliability, and production readiness.
Ensure engineering work meets standards for code quality, testing, release management, security, and maintainability.
Govern agile delivery with backlog discipline, sprint planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Promote disciplined engineering and DevOps practices, including automated build/deploy pipelines, and environment consistency.
Support platform integration and data exchange through reliable API and job interfaces with enterprise systems.
Communicate delivery status, health, risks, decisions, and remediation plans to stakeholders.
