Qualifications

• Experience leading software-related work in complex product development.
• Formal people leadership experience in a supervisor role.
• Working knowledge of SDLC and technical documentation.
• Experience delivering within cost, schedule, and technical constraints.
• Clear communication of technical matters to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering teams in design, development, integration and test of software solutions.
• Represent software engineering with program leadership and key stakeholders.
• Maintain proactive communication across software and program leadership.
• Own execution by driving schedules, resolving issues, and coordinating work across teams.
• Guide agile delivery and program increment planning; address dependencies.
• Lead planning and resourcing, including estimates and workforce allocation.
• Deliver software execution updates, risk assessments, and planning inputs.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to meet system performance needs.
• Grow the software organization through hiring, development and succession planning.
• Advance software execution through process improvement and best practices.
