Job summary

• Knowledge of capability/product requirement specifications.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; security+ certification preferred.

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist – Mission Systems to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Operator Workstation capabilities across multiple platforms and programs. Responsibilities include issue investigation and resolution, submitting bids and proposals, and documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.

Essential Functions

• Work with customer, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
• Test and troubleshoot Operator Interfaces on various platforms and programs.
• Communicate effectively with software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
• Obtain CompTIA Security+ within 12 months.
• Have an active DOD TS/SCI Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior systems engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior systems engineering experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of the systems engineering life cycle.
• Demonstrated Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Operator Interfaces.
• Demonstrated knowledge of writing capability/product requirement specifications.
