Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or commensurate work experience.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in applications engineering, programming, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for a team of developers delivering new products, enhancements, and updates across platforms.
• Defines and executes the technical strategy for software applications; evaluates technologies, frameworks, and tools to optimize development.
• Manages the product delivery roadmap with engineering and product teams to ensure SDLC is well-managed.
• Monitors and optimizes application performance, scalability, and reliability; identifies bottlenecks and resolves issues.
• Manages headcount, schedules, and costs for multiple projects ensuring budgets and timelines.
• Communicates project status and escalates issues to managers and partners.
• Manages relationships with outsourced partners, setting expectations for deliverables and costs.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions.
