Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise-wide Systems Programming – ServiceNow to lead architecture, engineering excellence, and team development for our ServiceNow ecosystem. The role defines and executes the strategy to adopt AI capabilities while driving operational efficiency.

The position is hybrid (San Jose, CA) or remote, reporting to the Director, IT Applications in the IT Corporate Apps department.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture and development experience.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, IntegrationHub, and core platform suites.
• 3+ years managing direct reports (developers, architects, QA).
• Experience driving modern engineering practices: source control, CI/CD, automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish design standards, reusable integration patterns, and guardrails.
• Define strategies to adopt AI capabilities (Now Assist, GenAI, AI Agents).
• Drive high-velocity Agile development with MVP releases.
• Mentor ServiceNow developers, leads, and architects for excellence.
• Modernize engineering with CI/CD, automated tests, and governance.
